Model outputs generated by the Theory and Analysis Working Group are now available as netCDF files for individual stations from 1985-2017. They can be downloaded via anonymous ftp at the website ftp://ftp.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/ndacc/gmi_model_data. The files are generated from a GMI chemistry transport model (CTM) simulation integrated with MERRA2 reanalysis meteorology. They have realistic constituent variability from daily to seasonal timescales.
SHADOZ (Southern Hemisphere ADditional OZonesondes), an NDACC Cooperating Network, is a NASA project to augment and archive balloon-borne ozonesonde launches, and to archive data from tropical and remote operational sites.

Ozonesonde data are among the most popular observations in NDACC because the profiles are a mainstay of satellite calibration and are used to develop climatologies used in atmospheric chemical-climate models. Sonde data are used for analysis of lower stratospheric ozone trends, where satellites alone often do a poor job. However, the ozonesonde instrument that is used at ~100 stations worldwide shows biases at different stations and discontinuities in profile time-series due to a variety of measurement procedures.
